If you would like to learn at a time more convenient to your own schedule, I am also available for hire for private classes.
I teach introductory courses to sewing by hand, embroidery, sashiko, denim repair, knitwear repair (both fine knits and heavy weight knits) and darning.
Pricing is tiered and based off total number of students. A private 2 hour class costs $100 for a class size of one person, $50 per student for a class size of two, and $40 per student for three or more, with a total class size of up to 15. I will provide all necessary supplies. No prior experience necessary, and I am happy to also teach enthusiastic children age 10 and up with a paying, accompanying adult.
I also teach how to use a sewing machine. Prices are comparable to those listed above but with a total class size of no more than 4 students. Host must provide the machine.
